IPDG Aziz Memon and Samina represented Rotary International President D.K. Lee and First Lady Young at the between 21st and 22nd February 2009.
The conference was well organized under the vibrant leadership of DG Nalin Fernando.
District 3220 has committed Rotarians who believe in Service Above Self in true spirits. Rotaractors and Interactors are very active. District has given good and productive R.I. Officers which include RI Trustee/Director Elect K.R. Ravindran. Due to high literacy rate there is great potential to increase the number of clubs and Rotarians.
The conference was held at the Mount Lavinia Hotel, Colombo, Sri Lanka. The conference services combined with incredible recreation opportunity provided a real treat to all. The conference programs were very well planned and even the break-out sessions were well attended. The activity and other program also provided a unique opportunity for the Rotarians and their families to enjoy best of fellowship during the conference. Gala Beach Fiesta was a good fellowship event which we enjoyed very much.
