Karachi Garment City
Aziz Memon is the Chairman of Board of Directors of the Karachi Garment City, a project of the Government of Pakistan.
The Federal Government Project would provide great opportunity for investment in the value added garments sector and would generate a number of additional jobs especially for the lady workers which will bring economic benefits to their families besides added export earnings for the Country.
The concept of Karachi Garment City Company will be clusters of sewing and stitching units grouped together to produce specialized garments for export and provide an opportunity to small and medium entrepreneurs to develop value-added clothing and accessories.
The stitching units may operate under one roof or in one locality, sharing common facilities such as training center,
import warehouse, water treatment plants, transport and logistics service.
