In a ceremony at Bilawal House, the Acting Governor of Sindh Mr. Nisar Ahmed Khuhro inaugurated the NIDs with the President of Pakistan’s daughter Aseefa Bhutto Zardari who administered polio drops to the children. Dr. Azra Pechuho (Chair of President’s Oversight Committee) was also present; the Rotary District Governor Jalaluddin Shaikh (RD Dist 3271), National Chair Pakistan PolioPlus Committee PDG Aziz Memon, Sindh Chief Coordinator Masood Bhalli and the 10 visiting Rotarians from US and Canada, including Ramesh Jonathan David Ferris (polio survivor) also participated in the inauguration ceremony. Media was in full strength, Government Officials and Parliamentarians also attended the event.
